Come explore one of Montana’s newest recommended wilderness areas, the Slippery Bill-Puzzle, which connects the Great Bear Wilderness with the Badger-Two Medicine, and discover the importance of permanently protecting these wild lands for fish and wildlife, and quiet recreation. This hike climbs through rolling, forested terrain in the Puzzle Hills with views of the surrounding mountains before descending to the Challenge Creek cabin. This hike is for the more adventurous-oriented who want to get off the beaten path, explore a rarely visited location, and are comfortable with some light route finding. This hike is offered in conjunction with our Fall Gathering but open to all whether or not you can join the Fall Gathering. Questions?
