Bear Smart Community Education Afternoon

  • Glacier Park Lodge 499 Montana 49 East Glacier Park, MT, 59434 United States (map)

Get Your Bear-ings and learn some simple, effective strategies to live and recreate wisely in bear country. Retired bear biologist Dan Carney will discuss grizzly and black bear behavior, common conflicts, and proven methods to help keep you, your property and bears safe. Practice using bear spray with trainer cans (when was the last time you discharged a can? It’s always good to practice!). There will be lots of resources to take home, including info packets for vacation rentals. Whether you live locally, run a vacation rental, work seasonally, or recreate outdoors, this event has information and resources for you! Together we can keep people safe and bears wild! This afternoon session is largely the same as the evening session Wed. May 31st only a different presenter and no door prizes today. Two times to better meet your schedule!
